About JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery
JUSTIN Vineyards is one of the founding estates of Paso Robles westside — Justin Baldwin planted the first vines on Chimney Rock Road in 1981, when very few people believed Paso could produce serious Bordeaux-style wines. Four decades later, the flagship Isosceles (a Cabernet Sauvignon-led Bordeaux blend) is one of California's most recognizable luxury reds, with vertical bottlings at 30+ years showing the estate's aging credentials beyond doubt.
Beyond Isosceles, JUSTIN produces a deep portfolio of Bordeaux varietals — single-bottling Cabernet, Cab Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, plus blends at every price point. The wines are made in a polished, French-influenced style with serious oak handling and long aging. JUSTIN was acquired by Wonderful Company (Resnick family) in 2010, which brought significant investment in hospitality including an on-site restaurant and inn.
What to Expect
The standard tasting in the tasting room walks through 5-6 wines including Isosceles and Savant. The premium Library Tasting includes older Isosceles vintages — the definitive experience here. The on-site restaurant (The Restaurant at JUSTIN) is one of the best in Paso for a winery lunch.

Reservations required. Splurge on the Library Tasting if Isosceles is on your wishlist. The on-site inn is excellent if you want to stay overnight on the westside. The reserve room often has limited bottles not available retail.
