SoMo – South of Morris Street – is a Charming Part of our Downtown with a vibrancy and charm all it’s own. Settled in the early 1800’s SOMO Was a working class and merchants neighbourhood. As you stroll through the streets you’ll explore some of our most charming architecture, from the well appointed residencies to the working class cottages. Somo is home to two of our National Historic Sites and our Seaport Market. Modern SOMO is a Haven for students, and a cornerstone of our culinary and entrepreneurial scene.   • MEET: Halifax Seaport Farmers Market, 1209 Marginal Road Halifax
  • WEATHER: tour takes place rain or shine.
  • DRESS: wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes
  • CAPACITY: 16 people per tour
  • TASTINGS: approximately 7 different food tastings; mostly stand-up tastings; enough for a light lunch
  • INCLUDED: all food samplings, Local Tasting Tours food guide taxes included
  • GRATUITIES: not included in ticket price – if you enjoyed your culinary experience, gratuities are accepted by our guides
